Hawai’i is the most remote land mass in the world. The internet is vital to us being able to connect and communicate with the rest of the world. Our economy depends on tourism, the large majority of whom use the internet as consumers to learn about our piece of paradise. Usually rivals, these companies have all come out in favor of “net neutrality” and against the bill currently in Congress to allow for access fees all across the internet: Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Yahoo, eBay, Common Cause, Gun Owners of America and the Parents Television Council.
