Beach Walk 609R – Walk with Me and Dream

Today is a replay of one of my favorite Beach Walks episodes – originally Beach Walk 150.

Please join me for a few Sun Salutations or Surya Namaskar to greet this day. As I stretched into the first back bend with my eyes open to heaven, I saw a waning full moon directly overhead in the deep blue sky. It reminded me of our connection across the many miles of land, sea, and sky. And I smiled at that.

Yoga means “union” so this seemed a natural, reinforcing event. Frequent visitors to Beach Walks will remember Show 116 with my friend Shaina Noll. You can hear one my my favorite songs from Shaina, “Dream” in today’s show. This moving meditation was also inspired by Jen and Kent’s Know Your Dreaming. Mahalo nui loa to all of you beautiful souls.

Today’s special show music is Dream by Shaina Noll.
Darest thou now oh soul; walk with me into the unknown.
You can buy the song Dream on iTunes here.

About Today’s Show

Part 3 of this decision-making process, and using everyday tools to sort out confusion. Today is about dreams. Sometimes I wake from dreams full of all sorts of problems and anxieties. Then I realize that is the #2 who was dreaming. She uses that time to bring issues to the surface. This can be helpful, as it is another way of examining the “worst case scenario” as we discussed in yesterday’s show, #167.

You may also find your #1 and #2 having a dialog in the dream. You can use that time to continue sorting out your preferences and innermost desires, while explaining things to the #2 that are not obvious to a little one with limited world experience.

Don’t know about the #1 and the #2? please see show #102.

Beach Walk 53 – Sweet Dreams

Cali had asked for a night time show. Guess what! This one turned into that, but by luck not planning.

h3. About Today’s Show

I wrapped up the discussion started in show #51, “R U Friends with Your Ex’s.” I am ever grateful for my ex-husband bringing me to Hawaii, to the very town I live in, and dunking me in the water! It is one of the most dog-friendly places imaginable, and my lifelong dream come true.

Tip: If you leave a message on the conch, please speak up so we can hear you! It’s noisy out there by the wind and waves. 🙂

Moe: dream, sleep, calm, as by the sea
