Programming code is just like cooking – sometimes you can guess the right mix and make a copy of something, but other times you need to know the original ingredients. Knowing when and how to tell the difference?
Usually you only learn that on the back side, after you give it a try. I am not a big fan of the “fake it til you make it” school. I prefer authenticity and simple truths. Having said that, I also believe we are each free to try anything we want. If you are selling yourself as something you are not though, seller and buyer be aware.

How nice to be taking a beach walk with you guys again!!
Thank you Rox for your insightful thoughts as well. Even when speaking to a group of people, there’s nothing like being fully prepared. The resulting flow of energy comes across as smoothly as watching your Lexi glide through the surf like a dolphin today. Usually anyone *lifting* someone else’s talk at the render level will come across as more stilted – ala cliff notes?!
@Susan – That is a great analogy for this topic. I was trained on the whole fake it till you make it thing but I now much prefer to just say: this is what I know, this is what I don’t, how can I help you??

So happy to see and hear you you back on the beach, Rox! (and to see the beautiful scenery)
And glad Lexi is doing alright. Looking forward to more 🙂
