Beach Walk 723R – Come Join with Me

Originally aired on February 29, 2008:
I cannot stop watching this episode! It was shot by moi, on the little Sanyo Xacti, there are water drops on the lens, it is a little over-exposed and a lot shaky, and of course I wanted more shots. But there was magic on the beach with Lexi this day. Then I heard this beautiful song on Dave’s Lounge #106 and I had to put these ingredients together. Sometimes the energy is so much more than the technique – this is true for me, today.

This episode is dedicated to each of you loyal viewers, who so generously receive whatever we share, who shower us with love and affection, who even travel all the way from Canada (and soon from the UK I hope) and share some of your precious vacation time with us.

I don’t know how to thank the Shanghai Restoration Project featuring Di Johnston for this beautiful song. I already purchased two copies of the album on http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=271612686&s=143441. I hope you will purchase their music to encourage more of this in our world. As for Dave, I have listened to his podcast from the first episode, and he stands in rare company to have been so focused from the start, and he only gets better.

I never tire of seeing this episode either! It is one of my all time favorite episodes…and had picked up the album after seeing this initially. The song “Preface” is the perfect match to it. Happiness overflowing…

  2. I too love this one. Aquavloggers unite. 🙂

  3. @Mike Moon – hey! I had forgotten about the aquavlogger tag. 🙂 Thanks for the reminder; post updated.

@Susan and my dog Lexie – thank you for supporting Shangahi Preservation Project. I am so grateful to the many artists who share their music with us. This episode would not have the emotional pull without the music!

  4. Love it .. the ocean is so green. Lexie is certainly living the good life (smile).

You’re so right Rox it’s mesmerizing. What it lacks technically it more than makes up in soul, heart or whatever that intangible is.

  6. Lexi is a Rock Star! A nice way to start a Friday evening here in Laguna Beach, CA under a bright quarter Moon and Venus hanging low in the sky.

  7. I love this video!
