Beach Walk 697 – Negotiation Secrets

I’ve been putting on this large Free event, Podcamp + Wordcamp Hawaii and we have had many sponsorship opportunities. It’s been a great learning opportunity for me in noticing why some deals work better than others. Hint: understanding your true authority.

Hawaiian Word:
Kūkākūkā: negotiate (discuss, confer)

Comments

  1. huge donation from Roadrunner…they are very high profile on the islands…will you be able to show the Beach Walks viewers the spot?

  2. I forgot to add a link. We posted it on the Podcamp site. 🙂

Here is the link to the Podcamp TV commercial

We the actors are home grown though Shane did some very classy editing with the motion graphics.

  3. Excellent point, Rox. We need to create strong ties with those who give so much to what benefits us even more. 😀

Also, Viddler appears to be down. I can’t get access. Hope it is fixed soon.

  4. @Lorelle – Viddler was down for a while earlier today but all is well now. I have found the generosity and flow of energy, information, and friendship to be increasing over time – part of is is the aloha spirit in Hawaii and part is the easy of connection that internet technology creates for so many of us. Look at all these people (like you and I!!) who became friends out of a shared interest, having connecting first and foremost online.
