We had a last minute change of plans recently. At first I found it very disorienting. Then Shane helped me by asking, “What’s the opportunity here?” And that single question opened up a whole new way of looking at things. We don’t always know best ahead of time; sometimes “even better” shows up unannounced.
Hawaiian Word:
Manawa kūpono: opportunity

I love how you have made take the opportunity to make a daily beach walks video while walking Lexi…and Lexi doesn’t seem to mind that you are multi-tasking either.
Wow, what a find and I’m sad that I didn’t know about this FABULOUS video podcast until I met you both last week at the New Media Expo. I talked about it on my latest video podcast at http://timcorrimal.com and included some video with you being interviewed on another podcast.
I’m subscribed and I’m telling all of my friends to subscribe as well. Now I have to go back and watch all of the prior videos.
You guys ROCK!

Hi Rox,
I loved your Beach Walks episode #676. Your little talk about recognizing oportunities and looking for “golden nuggets”. Is a wonderful way to look at life. This episode is a “keeper”.
I love to watch your beach walks on my ipod nano everyday. My husband and I have been to Hawaii 4 times and your beach walks really do give me a little “vacation” every day. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,

“What’s the Opportunity?” . . .
What isn’t (depending on your level of vision or imagination)?

I do believe most of my beach walks ideas actually originate out here in the viewers mind space. Thank you and mahalo for your comments; the synchronicity is my feel good moment of each day.
Mahalo for the reminder of using animal totems… Mouse vs. Eagle. It’s a good visual tool to help us see the manawa kūpono. I could not have asked for a more appropriate video for this day – mahalo nui nui for the synchronicity!
Aloha
Good job Roxy and Shane! Love you, Mom
PS Barbara here sniffing out opportunities as I write! Mahalo.

Hi Rox
I’m so glad I found your site. What a wonderful window on some lovely weather while I am living in England. Very dull, overcast, wet and chilly August here. So… what’s the opportunity? Hmm, that will take some thinking about. lol
Patricia
This reminds me of the glad game in Pollyanna. I love that book and the message it gives.
