I used to prefer knowing all the facts up front and planning my life meticulously. Now, I enjoy improvisation.
After all, even the most well-rehearsed scripts encounter unpredictable endings, and it can take a lot of time and effort to memorize the script. Watch the show for my improv move of the week!
We also have a new theme song, written just for us by Kaimoku! It is beautiful and we are so touched by this gift to our show.

Rox,
2 things – I love the colors of your (not sure what to call it) wrap thingy 🙂 and I love the new music. Its great.
As far as the audio vs video thing – of course I too would much rather see video for every single show however, if its the difference between a show or no show due to work/time limiations, I would far perfer hearing your voice and getting some “Rox” for my day than no show at all.
BTW – the audio shows just make your video shows even better. maybe thats why I picked up the colors of your wrap where as maybe before, I would have just taken its beautiful colors for granted,
aloha!
…with more life experience under my belt, it’s much easier to improvise now, than say when I was in my 20’s. And with the ability to improvise also came a more relaxed attitude if things don’t go to plan – which is certainly nice.
Often times the end result is just as good (or better) than the plan, which is motivation to stay the course.
@peter – mahalo – nice observation and i appreciate you sharing it. i really love the song too. 🙂
@jonnie – in some ways i think each generation gets more gutsy and less tied to historical precedence. and age does offer an enormous of freedom once we notice that actually, life is not so rigid/predictable as we might have assumed. everyday unexpected things happen; being able to embrace them and go with it is easier and more fun for me these days.
