Beach Walk 359 – Start with Simple Things

Meet Stan who just created his first sticker design and is taking a new turn in his life.

I like it when I have these random encounters at the beach – meeting new people and hearing their individual stories. In this case, Stan is staying focused despite others who say it can’t be done. So please join me in sending Stan some good energy from Beach Walks!

He had some really good advice: start with simple things.

Hawaiian words
Ho’omaka: start
Ma’alahi: simple

  1. Good luck, Stan!! GO FOR IT!!

Don’t listen to those that will tell you you can’t do something. In order to follow your dreamz, some things, and perhaps some friends, may be left behind.

  2. Couldn’t say it any better. I’m going through the same things now with my big move to Hawaii. Change… people just can’t handle it, and many don’t want you to succeed.

  3. I am not sure if you were able to get Stan’s information – but I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a few of those stickers myself. Perhaps BeachWalks could sell a few hundred for him?

  4. @Tommy – I have no doubts you will achieve your goal of moving to Hawai’i. 🙂

@Colin. Good idea. I have Stan’s cell phone and will call him and see what he thinks. I am not sure he has a mass printing set up yet, but this could be a good nudge in that direction!

  5. Aloha, Rox. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. I’m just learning how to operate these things. I greatly appreciate putting me on Beachwalks.tv. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

The 020 line is coming along, and I’m looking for ways to get the word out or for people who would be willing to carry my stickers, shirts and whatever may be in the works. I am not setup for mass printing as of yet, but I am working on getting some quotes.

–Colin, if you like those stickers, let me know, and we can work something out.

Much mahalo to everybody that left encouraging words and comments.

  6. Stan: I’d be willing to pick up a few. Let me know the details.

  7. Colin: Whassup, dawg? I can send you a sample if you send me your address. If you like it, we can work something out, and I can cut you a deal. If you know of others who may be interested, maybe you can help spread the word around and help a braddah like me. Much mahalo for your interest. Aloha.

  8. Stan: I sent you an email, let me know if you do not receive it.
