There is only now. Four simple words. One liberating concept.
This statement is a popular one. It is often associated with Erwin Schrödinger, a pioneer in quantum physics and famous for his cat experiment.
Today’s show is another “Beach Walks Moment.” I hope you find it illuminating. There is a quote from NLP practitioner, Jamie Smart.
Hawaiian words
I kēia manawa: now, present
Makana: gift, present

As John Lennon said:
“Life is what happens while you’re busy making plans.”
Hi Beachwalks,
I just finished my houston marathon in 2:38:13 seconds. One of my favorite sayings is….Marathoning is the determination and desire to overcome reasoning. Meaning….if their is something you truely desire…no matter how hard or painful it may be…..you can overcome it if you have the desire.
Dan – Mr. Lennon captures the experience pretty well! Mahalo also for the pics you sent. I cannot use Iz’ music on this show let Mtn Apple come a calling, but I will look for something lovely to go with them.
David – You are fast! or else know how to manipulate time quite well! I am impressed.
This is true. There’s nothing happening other than “now”, and it will always be “now”.
It’s a liberating concept for those who find it hard to make future plans or base decisions on what happened in the past. Whatever happened before may happen differently NOW, and there’s actually no telling how you’re going to feel about things in the future… even later today.
