Islands are wonderful metaphors. The weather is almost always different on the other side, and it reminds me I too can go somewhere else.
Islands have a windward side and a leeward side, reflecting the prevailing winds and seas. When it is cloudy on one side, it is often sunny on the other side. Makes it easy to go find the weather you want.
But what if you are sitting in an office building in a crowded city? The underlying logic still applies. Watch this episode to see what I mean.
Hawaiian words
Moku: island
Lewa: space
Manawa: time
