Hey! It’s a bold and beautiful “convention walk” with Daniel McVicar as Beach Walks is On The Road.
For those of you who are new here, I usually walk the beach with my dog Lexi in Hawai’i. But I am on the road traveling for my job, so you get to come along with me! I like to think of Beach Walks as much as an attitude as a place. A place where we explore the edges of the known world, and think differently.
Many know Daniel as an actor; he’s got the classic good looks and personality for a dozen of us. But he also has a heart full of gold and is immersed in the world of videoblogging for the conversation. Watch this episode to find out how and why. Then let’s get this conversation started!

Pardon the bumpy pans…I am flying solo right now without Secret Cameraman! Walking backwards, filming, and interviewing Daniel on the spur of the moment, oh – and editing and encoding too. 🙂

That was fun!!!
New camera angles. New faces. Kindered Spirits. I found myself smiling during the entire show for some reason.
Many Alohas and Mahalos to Daniel and Dorothy for helping Rox while she was at the Portable Media Expo.
Thought I’d recognize Daniel McVicar! (back from my soap opera watching daze). cooool!
I’ve got to give a shout out to Samson because the box that Daniel was holding was a Samson Q1U microphone. I won one at the Samson booth just after I saw you at the expo. YEAH!!!
Maybe I’ll be podcasting real soon or better yet vlogging when I get a better digital camcorder.
Hi Rox,
Found this through Technorati….great walk with you. For a few seconds there I could hear the ocean, but I look forward to a real beach.
Nice work, and thank you
Daniel
Hey everybody. Mahalo for the comments.
Philip – No need for a better digi cam. I started with a still camera that takes 20-second clips. Check out Show #38. It was raining so I used the little still camera. 🙂 And let us know here!
Daniel – I tried to find contact info for you to tell you about the show but failed. I am so glad you tracked it down. (Anyway, was going to leave a comment on mcvlog if the trackback didn’t show up for you.) Yes, let’s do a real beach next. The “light” of many kinds is so much more to my liking.
