About Today’s Show

Well, somehow those budding bunny video reviewers, Buns and Chou Chou, found us all the way here in Hawaii! Some say rabbits represent fear–they are afraid of magical powers. Some think they are afraid of being eaten! Me? I love seeing magic in my life and I have no plans to be eaten for lunch. 🙂

Buns and Chou Chou, that dream of Hawaii can turn into a nightmare if you come to the island without your veterinary certificate! They can quarantine you or worse, and be sure to tell your travel agent you are only allowed to enter at Honolulu Airport. (Sorry, no Maui stopovers for you.)

Amy Sedaris is rabbit-lover too, and she says to say “Rabbit, Rabbit” first thing on the first day of every month to receive a rabbit blessing and good fortune.

  1. I love Amy Sedaris! Did you see her on the Colbert Report the other night? I think it was Tuesday the 11th. Look for the clip, it’s hysterical.

  2. We have it on Tivo! It was fantastic! But they didn’t talk about her bunny so we used the “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” clip.

We actually have our Tivo set to record anything that has the words “Amy Sedaris” in it. You’d be amazed what shows up.

  3. So Beach Walks viewers, please tell me what you think about the Rabbit Bites episode!

  4. I followed to the blog-site shown in this episode…I’ve seen lots of video-blogs like that. Lots of blogs and vlogs out there with nothing to do but shock. I guess you could sit and over-analyse why people are like that and why they would take something good and want to mock it. It seemed rather an unnecessary desire to go out of their way to disparage something good. Rather sad. A shame.. but it’s good to be reminded that their are people like that out there – keeps your feet on the ground. Not everyone yet lives their life with the desire towards a happy and peaceful one. The upside is that if they do have any perceptive viewers, you’ll now have some new viewers too…

  5. Well, I laughed at it. People have thought me “too serious” and “too idealistic” and “too intense” most of my life, so to get the bunny take was pretty funny for me. Lexi is quite confused though as to why she did not even get a mention? Maybe bunnies are afraid of black dog sharks? No need, as you all know how lovable our Lexi girl is.

On the other hand, here’s a quote you may appreciate:

So far very little referral traffic from them. No idea how many site visits they get either.
