Needy & greedy sent me on a hunt for turtles.
h3. About Today’s Show
Some friends mentioned to me the other day they sensed some “needy & greedy” energy. It was a perfect zinger! I got the message loud and clear, as those words captured the high pressure, “gotta gotta” energy that I was feeling, and really nailed it.
So that’s what I am working on this week, and the lure of finding turtles tricked me into it once more! Fortunately, though no turtles were found, I did discover a beautiful new point on the north end of the bay and I got to “out” that inner voice (what I call the #2) yet again.
Tip: If you leave a message on the conch, please speak up so we can hear you! It’s noisy out there by the wind and waves. 🙂
Hawaiian words
Nele: needy
Nunu: greed

Great to see you at Kaimalino Point. In the 3.5 years since we moved to Hawaii you and I have never gone to Kaimalino Point which is just a couple of miles from our house.
Did you know that the house on the very very tip of the Point is the vacationi rental that I stayed in for that month before we moved to Kailua? I swam off the Point almost every day and can verify that there are turtles in adundance.
Let’s go there next week when I finally get back home. 🙂
Here’s a Google Map of the point: http://tinyurl.com/qwvbu
Here’s something some of you may have missed, including Rox: At 2:02 into this show, on the back edge of a small wave just off to the right of Rox’s left ear, a honu (turtle) sticks its head up out of the water for no more than a second.
It’s funny because Rox just finished saying, “…not good indictors for spotting turtles…”
I would love to see the turtles – if you stumble across them.
Interesting show, sometimes I wonder if we are all carbon copies of each other. I feel the same way you do.
