E komo mai and welcome to show number 6 of Beach Walks with Rox.
Do you ever have days when you don’t feel like talking to anyone? I had one of those this morning. So here’s a walk with very little talk from me, yet plenty o’ sounds of the birds, the rain, the wind, and the waves, plus the great music of Kaimoku.
About Today’s Show:
Even here in Hawaii it is the deep of winter. It rained hard last night, the neighbor’s phone rang loud at 3 am and woke me from a deep dream, and I struggled with restlessness for the next few hours. Result? I woke up tired, cranky and even a little disoriented. Not exacly “ready for prime time.”
I thought, in a whiny tone, “I don’t want to do a show today.” But of course I did want to go for a walk, and even more, a swim. So I realized I could do that and still be able to share my morning beach walk with you.
It worked! I came out of the water, head cleared, heart re-opened, self found, and ready to be happy for another day.
I wish you a “found self” today. And special mahalos to my camera man for juggling mood, machines, and umbrella. You do a great job!
